Seems that both the Canadian and American governments are providing of budgeting even more money to the ailing Auto Industry. Specifically for GM and Chrysler.
One columnist at the Globe and Mail estimates that in Canada this budget translates to $1.4M for each saved job. If true (does it consider collateral damage?) that is obscene.

The Governor-General of Canada, Michaëlle Jean, participated in a traditional Inuit seal hunt recently. Part of the event involved Ms. Jean helping to cut up the seal carcass. She also eat a piece of the seal’s heart – raw!

I do not understand the need for a poor country to spend the effort required to build a nuclear weapon. Why not take that energy and spend it on making your country better for its residents?

A Globe and Mail article says the top 5 reasons that people leave for other opportunities (jobs) are:
1. Lack of trust in senior leaders
2. Insufficient pay
3. Unhealthy/undesirable culture
4. Lack of honesty/integrity/ethics
5. Lack of opportunity for training and development
