Not Fly in the Ointment; Fly in the Bottle

A man from Windsor, Ontario, was awarded $341,775 after discovering a fly in a bottle of water. The situation supposedly triggered an intense phobia of flies and killed his sex life.

Subsequently, an appeal by the water company stripped him of that award. Now, the Supreme Court of Canada has granted the man the right to appeal that second decision.

I should point out that the bottle of water with the fly floating in it was never opened by anyone in the man’s family.
