Auto Show 2008

Jersey and Grandpa RichardI may not have teenagers in my family anymore, but that does not stop #1 son from asking to come live with me for a while. And, I do not mind. He is working at getting some more education credits and it is definitely easier if you are still living at dad’s place. (not to mention that dad owns a machine powerful enough to play Oblivion on !!!)

What does this have to do with the Auto Show, and the photo of me with Jersey?

It was my son’s birthday recently and I gave him an all expense paid trip to the 2008 version of the auto show. Probably would not have happened if he was still living up north.

the type of vehicle best suited for Grandpa Richard !!!While there, we spent some time in the upper areas of the Skydome, where Jersey and her friends usually hang out. We both agreed that the population of such lovely creatures was much lower this year. I thought that the selling of car parts ALWAYS had beautiful young ladies as the “poster girls”. Truth be told, I am not totally in favour of this practice, but it does seem to be a fact of North American advertising life. (do Rigid Tool calendars still have bikinis on each page?)

So, what am I trying to say?

Nothing, really. It was a good day, and I am very tired. (and if you see Jersey, mention my blog to her)

HEY, no comments about my choice of wheels either!

My brother, you are getting more and more like me as time goes on. Soon I will catch you with a beer in your hand. Keep up the good work with the lovely’s.

A change of vehicle’s however will get you more of the fine young ladies then just Jersey.
