Farewell Stargate SG-1

My favourite sci-fi program of all time, even better that Star Trek with Kirk, Bones, Scotty, and Spock, ended tonight. Ten seasons, a record for a sci-fi series. Richard Dean Anderson of McGyver fame was Colonel O’Neil, although he stopped playing a regular part several years ago.

I am going to miss it next season, although at least Stargate Atlantis is there to try to take SG-1’s place.

The final episode had its bright spots, but I was disappointed overall. I think that the writers could have done a better job.

Now, with one less TV show to watch, I’ll get a little bit more done around my place.
