freedom of religion?

Grandpa Richard is a firm believer in God, specifically a born-again Christian. So what does he think about the Supreme Court decision that says that all drivers licences in Alberta must have a photo of the licence holder?

To me, it is a valid request and need for a proper functioning society. Driving is not a right. It is a privilege, and with the rapid rise in counterfeit ID, it is a valid requirement to have a photo. This is a case where a particular “religious” belief (it is a point of interpretation actually) gets trumped by the greater good.
