It Is Against The Law To Let It All Hang Out
At least it is in the jurisdiction that I live in.
Reading the Globe and Mail this morning, I learned that clotheslines are illegal in many communities here. Why? I can only think that some people did not like looking at their neighbour’s “unmentionables”.
When I was growing up in the 60’s clotheslines were very common. Some say clothes are fresher smelling after drying outside. Forget man-made fabric softener. (oh, maybe it was a plot by the fabric softener manufacturers!)
Anyhow. The provincial government is promising a law to make it illegal to ban such wholesome, energy saving practices.
Here, here.
