Wi-Fi Connections In Trouble

Are you using a wireless router for your computers to connect to the internet? Seems that in some situations people are getting less than advertised speed from their units, and the problem is not directly the fault of the router or your wireless computer.

The criminal is the baby monitor, or other similar devices. Even some microwave ovens can mess up your computer’s Wi-Fi.

Some experts suggest that new regulations will be needed to restrict these unregulated household gadgets. Others say that the industry is getting the message and in some cases are self regulating. Perhaps you have seen some new gadgets with a ‘2.4 GHz friendly’ logo or a ‘Wi-Fi-friendly’ rating on their data sheet.
