Where Do Camels Live?

Here is another example of an exercise by man that has gone bad.

Camels were brought to Australia in the 1840’s to help explore the deserts. Makes sense, but as usual, some of the camels escaped and started a wild herd. There are now an estimated million wild camels that compete with native species for limited resources.

Those limited resources include the water systems of remote human settlements. In one case, parts of a herd of about 6,000 camels has been damaging infrastructure in a place called Docker River.

The government has decided to cull, by using helicopters to carry shooters. Check out further details at this item on the Globe and Mail’s site.

What would Crocodile Dundee say or do?

The author of grandparichardspeaks.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: The only impossibillities in the universe are completion and perfection. Thanks for the info.
